I bought this truck so I could play with some countryside. It had 35's on it when I bought it. I did some land bruising with this thing and had fun doing it. There's nothing like looking out onto the hood of a '97 and knowing you can go "over" pretty much anything that gets in your way. This truck got me excited about off roading. I remember a bad snow storm one year. The roads completely iced over and I was quickly coming up on a little car with no braking due to the ice at an intersection... I let off the brake and steered off road to an abandoned parking lot. That damn thing jumped up over that curb and was able to stop in the snow bank without batting an eye. I could have crushed that damn litle car, but instead I was safe and wound jumping the curb and careening into a snow bank and the truck didn't care one bit. No damage... nobody got hurt... ice-proof!!! I remember the year we had 50" snow drifts and this thing walked right out of a culvert... gotta love 35's!
