Not the B210. This was my first car. Bought it new off the lot while I was attending Navy nuke school in Orlando, FL. I had a buddy with me who used to work at a dealership before he joined the navy. He stayed behind while I took the car on a test drive. When I came back I told the salesman that I wanted the car and we started the negotiation. My buddy came in the office with me and sat quietly in the back. I had never negotiated on anything before and was quite nervous. As the salesman went through the options I agreed that I wanted the AC installed (dealer installed at that time). He quoted me a price around a thousand dollars for that option. I gulped, but it was pretty hot in Orlando. Suddenly my buddy piped up, "How come I can walk in off the street with my own 210 and have your garage install it for $500?" The salesman paled and asked, "Where did you hear that?" My buddy responded, "From you service manager. We had a nice chat while Rich was taking the car out for a spin." hahahaha You should have seen that salesman's face. There were several options that my buddy helped me negotiate down that way. Learned a lot that day.
